As we mentioned in our last group email, we have decided to give out more than one prize. So as well as one main prize, there are three smaller ones. They’re all absolutely gorgeous and it’s going to be hard to part with them. For a while it was like having a giant sized stash in my spare room!
So the three smaller prizes are:
A gorgeous sock kit…
…the Bannf Sweater kit…
… and the Trondra scarf kit. And a drumroll for the main prize for one incredibly lucky person:
The prize includes a skein of Dream in Color Smooshy, ten balls of Tess Dawson Merino 4ply and Cherry Tree Hill Laceweight, and of course much more! Definitely enough yarn to keep even the most prolific crafter busy for a while!
The Yahoo Group will now close to new members from Friday til next Wednesday, to give us enough time to print off all the names to be entered into the draw.
And the next blog post will probably be to say that the first issue is up. Very scary!

Another addition to the becoming-more-splendid-with-every-day-that-passes Launch Prize! Seriously, if you haven’t joined the Yahoo Group, what are you waiting for?! There’s a link in the sidebar to the right of this post.
The Knitting Hut have sent us a lovely sock kit, with everything you need to knit a gorgeously squishy pair of Artesano Hummingbird socks.

I think it’s about time we had another post! I’ve had these lovelies all to myself for the past week, so maybe I should share them.

…4ply merino…
…and laceweight merino, all in gorgeous colours and all available from YarnAddict Yarns.

We received a fantastic parcel from Jamieson and Smith today.

Firstly there’s a stunning kit for The Gibbie Shawl, with 1ply Cobweb Yarn. I may have to secretly hide this and keep ALL FOR ME!
We also have…

…a Banff Sweater kit, with enough gorgeous olive green Shetland DK to knit even the largest size…

…a lovely Tronda Scarf kit, complete with two soft balls of 2ply Lace yarn…

..and 5 x 30g mini skeins of Shetland Supreme. Perfect for mitts or a hat.
Phew! I think that’s enough yarn ogling to satisfy even the most obsessive yarnaholic.
