Summer is almost a distant memory, but that doesn’t mean I can’t squeeze out the last bit of sunshine with a couple of finished Traeth beach bags from Issue 2. :-)

This is Mindi’s Traeth, knitted in Lion Brand Cotton Ease in my favourite colour. ;-)

and this is Christine’s, who knitted hers in Omega Sinfonia, in a lovely pink.

I feel like jumping on a plane and going to find some sunshine now..!

I have harvest on my brain at the moment. It’s Harvest Festival time at school again, although this year instead of the usual tins of soup, I have to provide tins of dog food for the local animal hospital. And the latest finished project from Issue 3 are perfect for this particular time of year.

These are Lisknit’s (Ravelry link) Ruth’s Harvest socks, knitted with Skein Queen Cashmerino. I bet they feel *wonderful* on the feet. Just right now that there’s a definite chill in the air. :-D

The first finished project from issue 3 has already appeared!

Justine has finished a gorgeous pair of Shur’tagal socks, knitted with Dream in Color “Smooshy”.

I cast on for this immediately when we realeased Issue One, and it was gorgeous crocheting with the Alpaca Silk. However it was one of those things that you allow to snooze because there’s “loads of time to finish…”

Treenah1

Suddenly it was August and the birthday this Treenah was destined for was a week away! I won’t be in time, I’m afraid, but I won’t be too desperately late either.

Thanks Megan, for such a fantastic pattern! More details here.

The first finished Ondine: Sleeves for a Mermaid appeared on Ravelry recently. Vynne (Ravelry link) used Madame Tricote Dora. I must get around to casting on for mine! :-D
